EfCE, Efentakis Consulting & Engineering, was founded in 2000 to offer the capabilities of an industrial manufacturer to a wider audience. Since autumn 2018 it has been its founder's full-time work.
I joined Technika Plastika SA in 1991 as a maintenance engineer and led the company as CEO from 2000 to 2018, keeping direct responsibility for technical management and sales throughout. The company, later DASYC SA, was a custom manufacturer of engineering parts: injection moulding in engineering thermoplastics and BMC, pressure die-casting, composites, mould design and construction, and final assembly, for electrical and electronics, automotive, defence and aerospace customers.
Along the way I introduced BMC and gas-assisted injection moulding to Greece, and founded a 3D-printing service company offering polymer and metal additive manufacturing.
Since 2018 I have worked through EfCE for industrial companies, most of them SMEs. What I offer is what I needed as a CEO: an engineer who looks at the whole problem, tells you plainly what is worth doing, and stays until it works.
